
People love to disagree on things. And because of our differences in genetics, education, and cultural influences, you’d be hard pressed to find a single religion without multiple, sects, offshoots, denominations, and interpretations.
And yet, despite the thousands of varieties of Christianity – disagreeing on just about every aspect of the religion, there’s one core belief that’s universally shared by every denomination that I’ve ever encountered. A fundamental belief so indispensable, that to question it is to smash a canyon-sized crater through the ice of your Christian faith. And yet it’s an idea that Jesus himself took a sledgehammer to!
And most Christians don’t even realize it...
