As theocracy increasingly threatens secular democracy in America, it's more important than ever to shine a light on the absurdity hiding behind religious privilege. Society gives religion a pass way too often, focusing on the warm fuzzies while ignoring the harm caused by misinformation, pseudoscience, and straight-up dangerous teachings. My new video compilation exposes the wild world of religious extremism through some of the most unhinged moments you'll ever see.
This isn't about cheap laughs (though there are plenty).
When religious leaders spread fear about children's games, promote harmful sex education, or convince people that prayer alone can cure serious illnesses, real people get hurt. Behind the ridiculous claims and theatrical antics, there's genuine damage being done to vulnerable communities, especially kids growing up in these environments.

From preachers using fast food as proof of God to pastors who claim they can time travel, this compilation showcases the bizarre world of religious extremism that somehow gets a free pass in our society.
The scariest part of all of this is, that these aren't fringe outliers. Many of these religious leaders have massive platforms and influence thousands of followers.
Here's where activism comes in.
By highlighting these absurd claims and dangerous teachings, we create space for critical thinking and scientific skepticism. Sometimes all it takes is one or two people laughing at the absurd for people stuck in the cult to be able to remove the scales from their eyes and see the truth for the very first time. While this may feel like cheap laughs, sometimes it is a very strong and compelling reason why I think we all should laugh at religious claims.
Thanks to all of you who support this work. Together we're building a community where marginalized folks, atheists, and free thinkers know they're not alone in pushing back against religious extremism. Every person who realizes "wait, that's completely ridiculous" is one more person questioning harmful ideology. And by building a community, people who do question will know that they're not alone and that they have somewhere to land.
