Nothing Fails Like Bible History Episode 6

Nothing Fails Like Bible History

Is the Bible historically accurate, and can scripture be interpreted literally, or is the Bible myth or legend? Is the supernatural world or miracles real, or can the stories in the Bible be explained naturally? In this episode, I'm responding, yet again, to the Christian apologist Trent Horn of Catholic Answers and defending Nothing Fails Like Bible History Episode 3.

^ Note, this is the best source I could find for the origin of the "1000 people killed by hail" myth, but he doesn’t even say that hail killed 1,000 men.

Barnes wrote that, “There fell from heaven such a wonderful storm and tempest of thunder, lightning, rain, and hail among the English army that it seemed as if the whole fabric of nature was falling to pieces; and withal it was so excessive cold at the same time, that it cannot be imagined so that together with all these arrows of god’s anger* (and by this he’s referring to the thunder, lightning, rain, hail, and excessive cold he just mentioned), there perished no less than 6,000 horses and well-nigh** 1,000 men.”

*Thunder, lightning, rain, hail, and excessive cold
